Jung Truck Service began in 1977 when Donald and Phyllis Jung bought a two-truck LTL carrier by the name of Laquet Freight Service (originated in the 1940s). Since starting as a local LTL carrier, our customers expressed the need for our personal family-oriented service in the intermodal and truckload markets as well. In 2000, ownership of Jung Truck Service was purchased by Bruce Jung and Jon Jung, sons of Donald and Phyllis Jung. With the second generation management, warehousing operations and truck brokerage services were added to create a complete transportation offering for our customers. Headquartered in Mascoutah, IL, which is just 20 miles east of St. Louis, MO, Jung Truck Service, Inc. offers domestic and international intermodal drayage services in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Indiana and Kentucky, as well as providing truckload services throughout the Midwest.
